Batik Kreasi Kasumedangan, often called Batik Kasumedangan, is an archipelago batik that began in 1999 as a response to the Regional Autonomy policy by the Central Government on January 1, 1999 concerning the development of regional potential as an effort to realize independence in organizing regional government households. Publications about Batik Kasumedangan carried out so far have not reached the younger generation well. The design was carried out to bring the topic of Batik Kasumedangan to the younger generation and foster the interest of the younger generation in the historical and cultural values of Sumedang through Batik Kasumedangan which carries the themes of Sumedang local culture. Through the design of a photographic book on cassava batik using the fashion photography approach, it is expected to inspire and attract the interest of the younger generation, especially in Sumedang, to the historical and cultural values of Sumedang through Batik Kasumedangan so that the younger generation can apply historical and cultural values in daily life in accordance with the times.
