Summary:Rendani Airport Passengers Terminal located on Manokwari, West Papua Province, Indonesia. This terminal is on the third development phase of the older terminal that already built. In this phase Rendani Airport Passengers Terminal will accomodate 1.2 passengers per year with total passengers on busy hour could reach 787 passengers. This airport provide domestic flight with the furthest flight to Makassar city in Sulawesi. This building has total area approximately 12200 sqm as a twi storey building that consist of public activities such as departure and arrival of the passengers, commercial area, operational area. Those functions are embedded into two zone, arrival zone and departure zone which is divide into 2 parts, the northern part of the building and the southern part. The main theme of the design is “Advanced Truly Papua”. This theme will focused on the local value and traditional architecture of Papua that combined with recent technologies. This theme is choosen because Papua have a strong root on tradition and culture and also want to give a new modern-image on Papua. This theme are applicated on exterior and interior elements, massing, structure, and materials. Local issues become one of the most important issue in this design, beside others issue that identical with airport passenger terminal such as safety, comfort, circulation, and accessibility
