This project is a mother-and-child hospital building project that is a private hospital project belonging to Melinda Hospital. The location of this hospital has a land area of ± 8000sqm and is located in a location with land use as a commercial land. The hospital is planned to consist of 6 floors, with a capacity of ± 72 beds for maternal and child patients. The building coverage ratio (BCR) in this location is 60% with maximum floor area ratio (FAR) of 8. This project is located at Jalan Raya Kartini, Depok, West Java. The location is on the primary arterial road, affordable with all sorts of transportation, and close to residential residents make the location of this place to be strategic. Climate conditions in Depok City itself is a tropical climate, with temperatures during the day is quite hot. However, the location of this hospital is also close to the Ciliwung River so there is a need for some special treatment so that these rivers and hospitals are not mutually harmful. Because hospital is a building with a high level of emergency, the comfort and safety of users in it is one of the main factors that must be considered. The basic concept to be raised in the design of this hospital is an oasis in the middle of urban density. It is intended that the building of this hospital does not harm the surrounding buildings but it becomes a building that gives a positive impact.
