in East Java are grouped into 10 sections based on the influence of the art and culture of the performance.
But today, the art and culture of this East Java show is experiencing a downturn, the young generation began
to abandon it a lot. To restore the interest of the young generation to the performing arts, it is necessary to
build this East Java Performing Arts and Culture Park project. This fictitious project will have a modern design
and in accordance with the living habits of the young generation today.
East Java Performing Arts and Culture Park is located on Jalan Pantai Pantai Lama, Kenjeran, Surabaya
with an area of ± 5.4 Ha. The project has a building floor area of 8500 m2. The construction of this project
was initiated by the government of East Java Province. Implementation and funding of this project is done by
East Java Provincial Government in cooperation with private companies engaged in tourism. The
management of this project is under the Tourism Office of East Java and is assisted by a committee consisting
of East Java artists. The building is designed modern by keeping the East Java identity in its design. In addition
to accommodating the performing arts activities, this project also accommodates other supporting functions,
namely library, studio, concession, gallery and others. It is hoped that with this project, East Java has a
showcase of art and culture of East Java special show which can educate visitors. |
