Baru,

a
location

these
slums
are
present,
one
that
has
caught
the
attention
of
The
Vice
President
of
The
Republic
of
Indonesia,
Jusuf
Kalla,
and
is
yet
to
be
redeveloped.
Relocation
all
societies
to
unused
land,
including
fisherman,
to
Kemayoran
has
become
the
solution
to
ease
process
of
redeveloping
Kali
Baru.
This
relocation
will
directly
impact
the
fisherman's
economy
well-?being
as
Kemayoran,
being
far
from
the
sea,
is
geographically
different
with
Kali
Baru.
Fisherman
Social
Housing
at
Marunda,
North
Jakarta
is
a
proposed
idea
as
a
solution
to
solve
the
problems
of
relocation.
Land
of
+40.000
metre
situated
near
the
sea,
this
social
housing
expected
to
improve
fisherman's
quality
of
life
and
economy
legally.
Function
and
social
differentiation,
acommodating
the
fisherman's
activities,
and
environmental
impact
have
become
the
highlighted
issues
to
the
design
process
of
this
social
housing.
This
social
housing
will
mainly
acomodate
as
the
fishermen's
house,
but
has
secondary
function
as
the
interaction
and
production
base.
Variation
of
dwelling,
clear
activity
zones,
high
workplace
accessibility
are
the
ideas
to
respond
the
problematic
issues.
These
ideas
of
social
housing
hopefully
will
give
an
alternate
solution
of
fisherman's
economy
problem
and
improve
their
productivity
through
their
house. |
