Summary: | It is the duty of the electric power system to provide reliable and sustainable electricity
sources whenever requested. To be able to carry out their duties, the electric power system
must be able to balance electricity supply and electricity demand. The electricity supply
consists of physical devices that must be designed, built, operated, maintained, and finally
replaced on time. While electricity demand can change as a function of time. The Java-Bali
electricity system has a very high value of electric power and considering that Java has the
largest population in Indonesia with an increasing birth rate, the demand for electricity in the
Java-Bali electricity system will also increase. In order to maintain a balance between supply
and demand, it is necessary to plan the development of electricity generation so that the
electricity supply is ready to meet the growth in electricity demand. However, the use of
conventional plants has a negative impact in the form of pollution in the environment, so the
government has set policies that target of 23% renewable energy mixes in 2025. Therefore in
this final project research will be planned to expand the power plant in the Java-Bali electricity
system until 2030 by meeting the target of renewable energy mix. |
