Description
Summary:As a central bank, Bank Indonesia (BI) must be able to move dynamically in the face of an uncertain global economy, one of which is by issuing regulations or changes in Bank Indonesia Regulations (PBI). The changes to the PBI must be responded quickly, including by the Department of Monetary Management and the Department of Financial System Stability (Users). The right response is to analyze related policies on an ongoing basis based on historical data. However, the historical data has not been accommodated in the enterprise data warehouse (EDW) currently owned by BI. Users asked for the Application Development Division - Data Management (PIA MD) to accommodate the provision of historical data in EDW related to the Commercial Bank Daily Report (LHBU). EDW LHBU development can accommodate the provision of new historical data by adding multidimensional data presentation applications/Cube as historical data sources requested by users. The PIA MD Division also wants to carry out internal improvements to be able to transform their data warehouse (DW) development environment into an agile development environment. This study aims to develop and implement a Scrum-based agile DW framework on EDW LHBU so that the historical data cube is generated by users. The DW Agile Framework was developed through a combination of Scrum with the waterfall principle found in the BI information system development project management regulations and refers to the hybrid IT Development model. The final Scrum Framework is implemented in the process of developing EDW LHBU. The development resulted in a detailed design of EDW LHBU and the development results in the form of a cube on the IBM Cognos portal that can be accessed by users. This study successfully implemented the Scrum DW based agile framework in the PIA MD Division so that it can meet the needs of users for the presentation of historical data in the form of the cube from EDW LHBU.
