In accordance to this definition, it is possible to create a robot that can play a musical instrument based on its input program without requiring human interference barring the selection of the desired musical piece Using various engineering method with respect to various knowledge earned in Engineering Physics especially Lab TF 2 and Accoustics, a robot bould be build that is capable of playing a certain musical instrument. The building of such robot would be done as simple as possible using simple electric actuator playing input command from computer, and the sounds of the piece produced should be as close as possible to the sounds produced as if the piece is played with a human on on the same musical instrument. The resulting machine is an gambang arumba playing machine utilizing MG996R servo as its actuator. The machine is capable of playing songs within the note range of one octave from C5 to C6 with fastest tempo of 220 BPM. It also has two modes of operation which is manual and automatic, both of which are controlled via the software KlungMaestro. text
