This phenomena can be worsen by land subsidence. Tidal floods can cause flooding on land and resulted in economic losses and damage to roads, bridges, buildings, and lands. This research was conducted to modeling tidal floods and calculating the value of economic losses and costs for adaptation to tidal floods. Economic loss calculations are carried out by using tidal flood map data, economic exposure value data for each land use, and vulnerability value of each land use class for certain depth floods. Maps of inundated areas are obtained from overlay between tidal flood map and land use map. The results from this process are tidal flood maps from the year of 2017 and prediction for 2027. Adaptation cost calculation is carried out by overlaying tidal flood, road network, river network data, building data, and land use of Jakarta. From the results of tidal flood modeling, it shows that in 2027 tidal floods area predicted to increase for 3170 ha, from 2017. In addition, the increase in tidal floods area caused an increase in economic losses and flood adaptation costs. In 2027 the estimated value of economic losses is predicted to reach IDR 21 trillion or increases four times from IDR 5 trillion in 2017. In 2027 the estimated value of infrastructure, building adaptation land recovery costs is predicted to reach IDR 40 - 87 trillion or increases more than twice from IDR 16 - 38 trillion in 2017. The estimated cost to build dikes for tidal flood adaptation is IDR 20 trillion and to build giant sea walls as a NCICD program is IDR 400-600 trillion. text |
