Therefore, The Commuter Line electric train (KRL) can be a solution to meet the needs of the movement. Train station is a facility where trains stop periodically to raise and lower passengers and goods. Seeing that the condition of the Tangerang Line Commuter Station is not optimal, an effort is needed to improve the performance of the Station. This Final Project will be discussing the Design of Tangerang’s Commuter Line Station‘s Lower Structure. There are three buildings that will be designed, namely the main building, basement, and canopy. The design of the substructure covers the design of deep foundations for the main building and basement, shallow foundations for canopy, and retaining walls for basements. Furthermore, the shallow foundation will be designed using 2-way moment eccentricity method, the deep foundation will be designed using the help of L-Pile V.2018 software and Group V.8 software, while 2D V.7.2 Plaxis software will be used in designing and analyzing retaining wall and it's supporting systems. In addition, Analysis of the retaining wall will be carried out using Mohr-Coulomb material model. In this Final Project, the type of foundation chosen for a deep foundation and shallow foundation are driven pile and foot plate foundation respectively. From the results of analysis and design, the configuration of the number of piles at each column point, the dimensions of the site foundation, and the details of reinforcement needed for each type of foundations are obtained. Moreover, the retaining wall system in the form of diaphragm-wall with 2 pairs of ground anchors as it’s supporting system was chosen to produce a safe and stable excavation system for the basement structure. text |
