Summary: | In this Final Project, before the designing of human object detection system, we did a step,
namely a discussion about why we had to use radar device AWR1642 and what steps should
be taken for designing the radar device that we are using. We use the radar device AWR1642
for some reasons, the main reason is to do an extension detection which done by camera. When
camera do the object detecting (in this case, the object is a human), camera will not be able to
determine the distance of detected object and also camera will not be able to detects an object
in the night or during low light (dark). Because of these, radar device AWR1642 would be able
to do its advantages in object detection which is do the object detection in low light or when
we need the distance of the object that we want to detect. Other than that, we also visualize the
result of detection by AWR1642 and camera. The visualization of the detection result is in the
form of number that will be displayed on a web browser. When we use AWR1642 and camera
in object detection, we run both system simultaneously and both system run in real time. With
detection system using AWR1642, we are able to solve some object detection problem which
are object detection in low light and able to determine the distance of detected object. |
