Bandung is known as an advanced city in art and culture, and can not be denied again that the development of independent art community in the city of Bandung is very rapid. This is also motivated by the fact that Bandung is now growing as a creative city. The abundance of art schools, as well as colleges that teach the arts formally, make the number of artists increasingly superior in national and international scope. Therefore, it takes a Center of Performing Arts that can accommodate the development of the art community. Department of Culture and Tourism Bandung as initiator also supports the improvement of art and culture in Bandung City in accordance with the vision and mission goals. Therefore emerged several issues and concepts that ended in a big concept that is a Center for Performing Arts as a forum for interaction of the art community in Bandung. This performance hall will have designs that stimulate community activity in the building, as the activities of this community is rated as the source of life of the building. The building is a center for gathering, brainstorming, sharing art skills supported by certain facilities. It is realized by making the idea to make the building as a city space, which is open to every circle and can form a more appreciative and qualified society in the field of performing arts.
