Summary:Indonesia is an improving country which has a numerous amount of working age population. As its population keeps growing, the need for working space is also raising high. In many big cities, lots of high-rise buildings have been built. This results in the making of basements in many buildings nowadays. In the construction of basements, the stability of retaining walls and the foundations underneath is needed to be checked so the structure may not collapse later on. In this final paper, an excavation of 17,5 meter is supported by a diapraghm wall and ground anchors. Analysis have been done using PLAXIS 2D with Mohr-Coulomb soil model. The diapraghm wall has 0,8 meter thickness, and depth of penetration equal to 19,5 meter. 3 ground anchors are placed in elevation -5,5m ; -10,5m ; -15,5m in successive. Bored pile foundations are used in this final paper. The pile capacities are calculated using Reese & Wright methods. Lateral capacities are calculated using LPILE, while group pile analysis are done using GROUP. Settlement analysis are calculated manually using spreadsheets. Reinforcement design for both foundations and retaining wall are designed using Indonesian National Standards (SNI) for Concrete Constructions.
