The building consists of 5 floor-upper structure and 2 floor-basement. Structural response to earthquake loads of the structure is strictly required due to its diaprahgm irregularities.
Based on SNI 1726-2012, the upper structure and basement can be analysed utilizing 2 stage analysis in which the basement is assumed to be very stiff that the upper structure is fixedly restrained at the ground level. Due to considerable irregularities of the upper structures, it is separately analysed by firstly dilating 100 mm the northern and southern structures. Northern strucutre system is combination of Special Moment Resisting Frame and Structural Shear Wall, while the system of southern structure is Special Moment Resisting Frame. Structural analysis shows that the structures meet the requirements regarding interstrory drifts, dual system, two stage analysis, P-Delta and vertical deflection. However, the structures fall on some vertical and horizontal irregularities. Thus, diaphragm analysis and detailing must be conducted.
The structures utilize concrete and steel structural elements. For the concrete elements, the detailing includes reinforcement designs of slabs, beams, columns, beam-column joints, shear walls, and diaphragm. Meanwhile, the main detailing for steel elements includes designs of joints for steel beams and bracings to steel elements or concrete elements. The detailing design is conducted by referring to SNI 2847-2013 for concrete elements and AISC 358-16 and AISC Design Examples Version 15.0 (2017) for steel elements. |
