This project is a cancer special hospital with 129 room capacity. The area of the project is 17.900 m2 and the building area in total is 26.486 m2. This cancer special hospital is designed to facilitate the needs of society for cancer facility in Indonesia, especially in Bandung. This project is located in Bandung, Jawa Barat. The location has a great accessibility, thus makes a good option to build a hospital in it. The space programs and requirements are arranged based on standards and reference. There are also rooms that are exclusive for cancer special hospital such as radiotheraphy room and chemoteraphy room, which have special needs and requirements. The hospital’s concept is to be a ‘friendly and healing environment’. This concept is chosen to give a cozy atmosphere for the hospital’s user so it can give a positive effect for all the staff, family, and especially the patient themselves. This concept will be applied to the massing, the indoor and outdoor space, colors, façade, etc. The healing environment will be supported by healing gardens indoor or outdoor.
