DIFUSSION OF INNOVATION VILLAGERS PANGGUNG HOUSE REHABILITATION’S PROGRAM AT KAMPUNG TAJUR PASANGGRAHAN VILLAGE PURWAKARTA DISTRICT

Today, the influence of globalization cannot be separated in the development of a country. There are negative influences of globalization on the country, such as; economic control, environmental damage and loss of a country's culture. To reduce the negative impact of globalization in the cultural field, it is necessary to find ways to increase the resistance of state culture to the flow of globalization. One of them is build a development innovation using a cultural approach in the implementation of development. One area that has carried out development with a cultural approach is the Purwakarta Regency. In this study aims to see the diffusion process of one of the development innovation programs carried out by the Regional Government in Kampung Tajur Pasanggrahan Village through the rehabilitation of residents' stilt houses and see the implications of the program on changing the behavior of their communities. This study used a mixed method using content analysis, qualitative descriptive analysis, and descriptive statistical analysis that was integrated into Rogers' diffusion innovation model, the transteoritic behavior change model, and changes in S-O-R behavior. From the results of the study it was found that the diffusion process of innovation has been running until now with the acceptance of the program by the community and growing up. Then the results of this study saw changes in people's behavior in the fields of education, health, awareness of the Indonesian language, guarding cultural customs and other changes from the people who had abandoned the values and customs of the local community. The conclusion of this study, which is a key factor in the process of diffusion of innovation, is the social system, key actors, and the suitability of the program with the construction of a community with a cultural approach that can be an alternative in developing the region. Evidently through the rehabilitation of the Kampung Tajur houses on stilts, to advance a society, it does not have to adopt something new due to the influence of globalization which is not necessarily accepted by the community.
