For this reason, research was conducted to identify the physical aspects of Pangandaran Beach location and water tourism activities such as swimming and surfing to the safety of water tourism activities. Based on the results of observations and research data obtained from the geomorphology and physics of oceanographic Pangandaran Beach such as data on Pangandaran coastal topographical conditions which include broad lowlands along the coast and coast within a radius of 1500 m from the coastline and slope of land stretching within a radius of 3000 m from the coastline. The shape of the Pangandaran Beach line forms tears (teardrop) that enter the Indian Ocean with flanked by two sides of the bay namely Pangandaran Bay in the south and Pananjung Bay on the East. Pangandaran Beach Bathymetry Data is between 0- 24m and significant wave height is 1.23m. While the discussion of the physical aspects involved in swimming activities is so complex because it is influenced by the lateral movement of a typical body anatomy. However, the drag force of the analysis results is the main important component as propulsion.. The Application of Newton's Second and Third Laws provides a better basis for understanding movements in swimming. While for surfing the aspects of physics that are influential are aspects of the wave and movement of the surfboard. There are obstacles that must be considered in swimming and surfing movements, namely the skin drag, shape and wave drag force that are influenced by the Bernoulli Principle. text |
