archipelagic country, Indonesia became one of Asia's favorite travel destinations via Detik travel.
Until today, there are 24 cruise companies entering Indonesia. In 2014, there are 214,000 foreign
tourists entered Indonesia through cruise tours. There are 5 yacht berths or yacht parking locations
in Indonesia. Two of them are in Bali, then Jakarta, Batam, and Lombok. The Government of
Banyuwangi Regency is aware of this potential and responded by developing a sea transportation
gate under the name of Boom Marina Banyuwangi Development Area. The main project area is 44.2
hectares with a capacity of 150 boats, including an island on Boom Beach. Development of the
marina will be connected with Tanjung Benoa Beach in Bali and Labuan Bajo in East Nusa Tenggara.
The marina complex contains the resort zone, marina, and eco-park. The function of the resort will
be integrated with marina complex Boom Banyuwangi with main function as hotel resort marina.
