DESIGN OF BORED PILE AND DIAPHRAGM WALL AT GOURMET ALLEY PROJECT IN BANDUNG

In this final project discussed the geotechnical design of the Gourmet Alley project, located at Jalan Dayang Sumbi, Bandung. This building has 3 floors that functioned as a culinary area in the city of Bandung and also has 1 basement floor which is used for parking spaces. There are 2 main jobs...

This building has 3 floors that functioned as a culinary area in the city of Bandung and also has 1 basement floor which is used for parking spaces. There are 2 main jobs from the geotechnical aspects, which are foundation design and retaining walls design. The type of foundation used is bored pile which is useful for distributing the upper structural loads to the soil. Furthermore, diaphragm wall will be used for retaining wall with a ground anchor to maintain soil stability in the basement. The calculation of axial capacity is determined annalitically with manual calculation. While the calculation of lateral capacity is determined in 2 ways, first analytically with manual calculations using the Brom equation and also done numerically with LPILE application. Next, is the determination of the group pile based on the load originating from the upper structure. In determining the group pile, it is assisted by the GROUP application which is able to provide the force values acting on each single pile which is then compared with the calculated axial and lateral capacity. Besides the capacity of soil, there is also a calculation of the settlement which is calculated analytically with the Vesic equation. The calculation of reinforcement for foundation piles and pile cap is also carried out. Next is the design of the diaphragm wall and ground anchor modeled in the PLAXIS 2D application which then analyzes the stability of the wall based on the value of the safety factor and the deflection limit. And the last is the calculation of reinforcement diaphragm wall. text
