Summary: | Surface textile involve creative exploration of processes such as coloring, painting, printing, sewing, decorating, and dyeing. Results from background can affect the appearance of everything we see and touch because it produces works that display textural and tactile elements. Textile backgrounds besides referring to fashion can also cross to the textile interior. The application of surface textile techniques to the interior can strongly influence the atmosphere of the room, especially in the interior of the child, because the application is related to the processing of interior surfaces which are the closest thing to children because they are directly related to the senses of children. One of them can be applied to the interior of daycare, which is now a trend in Bandung. Daycare plays an important role for the growth of children so that there is not enough learning from the teacher but the environment of the daycare room must be involved to help the development process and stimulate the imagination of children so that it is more comfortable to stay. The application of textile background techniques is still limited to the use of daycare in Bandung, so the need for innovation is by utilizing textile background techniques on interior products that act as learning media |
