The erosion of the coastline that occurred in this area caused a threat to the people living around Gebang Beach, especially for people living in coastal areas. This Final Project covers the process of designing a protection structure of Gebang Beach using secondary data that has been processed. Coastal protection structure are modeled first using NEMOS (Nearshore Evolution Modeling System) numerical modeling with some types of modules in it. The modeling process of coastline erosion from 2014 to 2017 was calibrated first to obtain an error of <10%. When the calibration process was obtaining an error of 9.82%, modeling was carried out to see the coastline erosion in 2018 until 2027. The results of this Final Project is a coastal protection structure selected in the form of a breakwater with length of breakwater is 100 meters, 7 breakwaters with distance of each breakwater is 50 meters. The width of the crest head structure is 1.1 meters, while for the trunk structure is 1 meter. The head structure armor layer is quarrystone 300-550 Kg and for the trunk structure is quarrystone 250-400 Kg. The head structure of the filter layer is 30-50 Kg quarrystone and for the trunk structure is 20-40 Kg. text |
