| Summary: | Family planning program (KB) is an effort in controlling children birth, range and ideal age of giving
birth, control of pregnancy, through promotion, protection and assistance based on reproduction rights
in order to achieve quality family. Parameter of national family planning is only amount of
contraception tool used without seeing compliance of acceptors or monitoring the use of contraception
tool on the acceptors. This research done by creating a counseling media which able to increase
acceptors compliace of KB, thus could increasing effectivity of the use of contraception tool and
decreasing population growth rate, specifically in Bandung and generally in Indonesia. This research
is an experimental and analytics observational test for a number of acceptors of contraception pill in a
sub-district of family planning program in Bandung. Also, this research done through questionnaire to
observe compliance and knowledge of acceptors. Data collection process begin from collecting data of
contaception pill acceptors in sub-district of Babakan Tarogong which corresponding research subject
inclusion criteria. All acceptors gathered to obtain a pre-test questionnaire as a basic knowledge
information and acceptors habit on contraception pill and their biodata. As a result of this research,
compliance rate of consumption of contraception pill in Babakan Tarogong is quite low. Then,
acceptors divided into two major, control and test major. For test major is given media calendar to
them and for control major isn’t given. After a month test, result of t-student test is t=0,005 (p<0,05)
so there is a significant difference regarding compliance rate of the acceptors on consuming
contracetpion pill which becomes better, therefore can be stated that this media calendar assisting the
acceptors on increasing their compliance.
