Description
Summary:Kulon Progo International Airport is an airport that was built to fulfil the increasing need for air transportation in Yogyakarta. This airport was built because the existing airport was not able to accommodate existing needs. There are two main jobs carried out in the planning of the Geotechnical field, namely the design of foundation requirements and soil improvement. the foundation design used is the foundation in the type of drill foundation, the foundation is designed to meet the design criteria in the form of bearing capacity of the foundation and settlement of foundation. Axial Bearing capacity was determined using manual calculations according to Meyerhof and the lateral pile capacity was determined by modeling using LPILE and GROUP8 software. After analysis of the axial carrying capacity and lateral carrying capacity obtained the pile design used has a diameter of 80 cm with reinforcement 14 D22 mm and has a length of 15 meters. The configuration of the number of piles in one pile-stamp is adjusted to the placement style of each column type, there are 5 types of columns used in the design of this final project, 5 types of columns are based on the space between columns in the results of the structure design. Analysis of foundation settlement was carried out using manual calculations, from the results of the analysis it was found that the settlement in the foundation that occurred was below the standard so that the tie-beam design was not carried out.
