Description
Summary:activities as previously explained. Therefore, in a multi-storey building, water treatment system is needed in order to human fulfill their needs as user of the infrastructure and to manage the water resource properly. This final project discusses the design of drainage channels and rain water harvesting systems on projects located in Medan, North Sumatra. This building has 3 parts, namely a podium with 4 floors that functions as a mall, 2 towers that function as offices with a height of 32 and 36 floors respectively, and 3 basement floors that function as parking lots. Due to the relatively small catchment area, the rainfall used in this final project is hourly rainfall so that the rainfall intensity can be obtained representatively. Yhe calculation of rainfall and intensity is the initial data to determine the flood discharge in order to obtain the channel dimensions.
