A good mining process is a crucial role in achieving production targets. Each company has its own characteristics to support the achievability of production targets. However, the achievement of production target must also be considering the suitable mining costs. PT BUMA as the mining contractor of PT Kideco Jaya Agung Coal Mining is still facing the problem of over budget. For solving this problem, the number of haulers in a fleet is analyzed. Excavator CAT 9020B and hauler CAT 777E as overburden removal production equipment . From this analysis, it was found that the actual match factor is 1.03. After optimizing, it is found that the suitable match factor is 0.93 which is the most appropriate number of match factors for the mining conditions on the front 12 pit M by considering economic rules and achievable of the production target. the right amount of dumptruck is nine unit with the productivity 881,02 BCM/Hour . therefore , reducing one unit hauler from the actual condition can be considered.
