Summary: | Cardiovascular artery disease stated as the first causing death in the world,
including Indonesia. Dyslipidemia is one of risk factor to cardiovascular artery

antidyslipidemic drugs in a health care facility to achieve rational drugs use. This
study using descriptive research and concurrent-retrospective design by
interviewing 92 respondent and review their medical records and prescriptions.
The study results that the use of HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors has complied the
guideline as the first line therapy of dyslipidemia. Simvastatin is the most

parameter. Side effects that related to statin in patients are 7.6% myopati, 1.1%
headache, 1.1% abdominal pain, 1.1% eczema, brown-coloured urine 10.9%.
Lipid profile data is needed to calculate 10-year risk atherosclerosis
cardiovascular that are available from 25 patients, then calculated based on
algorithm of Management Blood Cholesterol 2018. The result shows that there
are 8.0% low risk patients, 12.0% borderline risk patients, 48.0% intermediate
risk patients, and 32.0% high risk patients.
