Departing from this situation, the government is determined to improve the economy in the Maluku region by pushing Tulehu Port into a Tourism Creative Economy Zone. Tulehu Port is located in Tulehu Village, Salahutu District, Ambon Island, Central Maluku Regency, Maluku Province, Indonesia. Tulehu Port is used by the local people as access to several surrounding areas, such as Seram, Haruku, Nusalaut, Saparua, and Banda Islands. This resulted in activities at the port becoming quite high. The lack of adequate availability of port facilities has disrupted activities at the port. In this Final Assignment, the location of several alternative locations was chosen as a replacement for the old Tulehu Port. The alternative location arrangement is based on the availability of vacant land as a place to plan for the construction of the port. The selection of a new port location is seen from several aspects, such as land availability, ease of accessibility, and ease of shipping and passenger safety based on the physical condition of the environment. In addition, wave modeling is also carried out using SMS 8.1 software to find out wave conditions at each alternative location. The results of this Final Assignment include the location selected as the site for the planned construction of the new Tulehu Port and its port facilities. Then the layout design of the new Tulehu Port and its facilities are made from the selection location. text
