Factor of Safety is related to resistance force and driving force. Through these forces slope stability can be analysed. Finite Element Method is the most popular method in numeric method. One of the approach that can be done in Finite Element Method is using material model equivalent for fractured rocks. This research starts with collecting data parameter that Phase 2 software require. Because the material that being used is same, the input parameter of the data from each models in this research is taken from under graduate thesis of Umam (2019). After that, equivalent Young’s Modulus for 4 cm, 6 cm, and 12 cm joint spacing was determined. This result is then used as an input in Phase 2 software’s parameter. The overall slope model is 56.40 and 71.60. For additional parameter, a 0.1 and 0.2 G horizontal acceleration is given to the slope model. Final result of this research shows that denser horizontal joint spacing will produce a smaller safety factor. Moreover, the model with steeper angle will also produce a smaller safety factor. text |
