Description
Summary:The conduction system of the heart initiates the normal cardiac cycle and coordinates contraction of cardiac chambers (atria and ventricle). The electrical events in the heart can be recorded on an electrocardiogram (ECG). ECG 12 lead usually be interpreted using Einthoven’s parameter from limb lead and precordial lead. ECG signal is interpreted in separated lead until now. ECG signal processing method is proposed to know sequence contraction direction of the heart in this research. Two or more ECG leads extraction can give spatial information. Spatial information is used to show contraction direction of the heart. P parameter ECG from limb lead and precordial lead extraction shows atrium contraction from right to left side. R parameter ECG from limb lead and precordial lead extraction shows ventricle contraction from left to right side. Sequence of contraction direction of heart’s atria and ventricle is used to know normal condition and ten heart’s problems (atrial fibrilation, left atrial enlargement , right atrial enlargement, ventricular fibrilation, left ventricular hypertropy, right ventricular hypertropy, left bundle branch block, right bundle branch block, left anterior fascicular block and left posterior fascicular block). Contraction direction visualization in four hexagonals give information about contraction direction of heart’s atria and ventricle. Using primary and secondary data, test of proposed method can show contraction direction of the heart. Health condition of the heart can be detected using sequence of contraction direction of the heart in normal condition and ten types of heart’s problem. Proposed method hopefully can give important information as early warning to physicians about heath condition of the heart.
