This study take case in Jakarta Metropolitan Area and will give some insight about freight truck route choice between highway and non highway route in various traffic condition and travel time. This study uses truck travel summary data in certain time. Route choice analysis based on Wardrop’s Equilibrium Principles and binary logistic regression is used in this study to explain truck route choice and decision makings process behind it. Result is, route that choosen by truck driver will depend on traffic condition in alternative route and estimated travel time. Truck travel that take place at day most likely use highway route. However, truck travel at night will has various route choice but tend to use non-highway route to save travel cost. text
