INSTITUT TEKNOLOGI BANDUNG https://digilib.itb.ac.id/gdl/view/40458 Determining the porosity distribution of reservoir rock in oil and gas industry is very important requirement for the sustainability of the hydrocarbon production. The scenario of the oil and gas field development plan is driven by the results of the G & G study on estimates of the distribution of destination porosity. Geologically, each oil and gas field has its own characteristics, therefore detail investigation about porosity distribution for each oil and gas field are very much needed. Porosity data obtained from logging results, where the information obtained is a variation of vertical porosity. Meanwhile, optimization of field development requires a lateral variation of porosity information. Seismic data gives variations in lateral elastic parameters. This gives an advantage in conducting studies on the distribution of rock porosity. This study presents the integration of well and seismic data to estimate the porosity distribution of Baturaja limestone as a reservoir on field X using elastic parameter of Mu Rho. By optimizing the angle of reflectivity using Extended Elastic Impedance formula to obtain reflectivity of Mu Rho, the relationship of porosity and elastic parameters of MuRho obtained from the calculation of log data on the well. By utilizing the elastic parameters on seismic, the variation of porosity both vertically and horizontally along the existing seismic volume were estimated. text
