The “Ada” petroleum Field is located in Pertamina Hulu Energi Offshore North West
Java. Geographically, this research coordinate is 307500-312500 UTM and 9342000-
9352000 UTM and located in North West Java Basin with an area of ±50 km2.
This reaseacrh aims to determine facies and reservoir geometry, reservoir distribution,
petrophysical properties reservoir, and estimate the amount of original oil in place. Well
logging, description from side wall core, depth structure map, and drill stem test were the
data used in this research. Methods applied in this research were facies analysis,
stratigraphic and stacking pattern analysis, sikuen component analysis, petrophysical
analysis, static 3D reservoir modeling, and calculation original oil in place.
Based on litofasies analysis, Massive Formation has five lithofacies such as Svf, Svftf, Ssf,
Ssvftm, Lst, and Fr which build sand ridge and tidal flat facies architectures. Depositional
environment is Upper Shoreface that are influenced by sea tidal with northeast – southwest
trending of sedimentation and main structure were north-south trending of normal fault .
Based on petrophysical analysis, cuts-off value of Vshale(Vsh) is 0,62, effective
porosity(PHIE) is 0,01, and water saturation(SW) is 0,75.Geometrical facies reservoir
modeling “Sand Ridge” has trending northeast-southwest. Estimation original oil in place
at reservoir-35 is 59,56 MMBO and reservoir-32 is 29,62 MMBO.
