INSTITUT TEKNOLOGI BANDUNG https://digilib.itb.ac.id/gdl/view/40539 The development of the West Java International Airport (BIJB) and the Kertajati Aerocity Area is one of the efforts to improve the quality of transportation services in West Java Province. The development of this transportation system is inseparable from the system of activities contained in the region. Transportation systems and activity systems are interrelated in becoming one of the key factors in developing the region. In realizing an integrated transportation system and activity system, connectivity is needed to accommodate the flow from one system to another. In West Java Province, one of the movements that can support the West Java International Airport (BIJB) and the Kertajati Aerocity Region comes from the tourism sector. In this study, connectivity needs were analyzed based on regional coverage of the tourism sector and other passenger generation areas. With the Aerotropolis theory put forward by Kasarda, a review of the tourism sector, as well as BIJB connectivity analysis with its regional coverage, there are several priorities for the development of networks and transportation nodes scattered in fifteen tourism areas in eight districts / cities around West Java International Airport (BIJB) and Kertajati Aerocity area, namely Subang Regency, Indramayu Regency, Cirebon Regency, Cirebon City, Majalengka Regency, Sumedang Regency, Garut Regency, and Tasikmalaya Regency. Moreover, Bandung City is also included in the coverage area with the potential for passenger generation from the flight routes transfer from Bandara Husein Sastranegara. The main connectivity needed is a network and node that can accommodate the flow from the priority of tourism area development according to provincial-scale planning documents in potential area coverage. text
