CONNECTIVITY OF TOURISM DEVELOPMENT THROUGH THE ROUTE TOURIMS CONCEPT IN CIAYUMAJAKUNING

Ciayumajakuning is an area consisting of Cirebon, Cirebon, Indramayu, Majalengka, Kuningan and part of Sumedang Regency. In Regional Regulation No. 22/2010 concerning Spatial Planning of West Java Province 2009-2029 there are many plans for infrastructure development on land, sea and air for Ciayumajakuning area so that in the future it will be easier to visit this region. Currently with the highway or commonly called the toll road, which connects between Cikopo-Palimanan-Kanci-Pejagan become one of the factors that have a big impact for tourism in Ciayumajakuning is growing rapidly because Ciayumajakuning area is now one of the tourist destination for tourists origin of Jakarta on every weekend other than Bandung, fast travel time becomes the choice Ciayumajakuning. Given the importance of the tourism sector in the future, tourism development in Ciayumajakuning is expected to contribute to the increasing number of tourist visits and the spread of tourists who are not only concentrated on the city of Cirebon. Tourism in Ciayumajakuning is dominated by natural and cultural tourism, but the government is suspected to be less ready for the tourism market in Ciayumajakuning which is growing rapidly due to the existence of Cipali Toll. Therefore, it is necessary to study and conception of tourism route planning in Ciayumajakuning Area as input for making framework or direction of government policy for tourism development in the medium and long term for tourism development in Ciayumajakuning. The purpose of this research is to develop tourism through Ciayumajakuning tourist route. To achieve these objectives, the objectives of this research are: The identification of tourism potential that can be developed in Ciayumajakuning Area; The identification of the existing condition of tourist attraction in Ciayumajakuning; The accessibility of tourist attraction in Ciayumajakuning; The arrangement of Tour Route in Ciayumajakuning according to the existing condition and its potential; Identified infrastructure needed to support accessibility and development of Ciayumajakuning tourism route. The approach used in this study is a qualitative and quantitative approach that is equally conducted for the availability of different data and conditions according to the needs of the analysis. iv Approximately there are 22 tourist attractions in Ciayumajakuning, but only 13 tourist attractions are selected to be a priority tourist attraction that entered the Ciayumajakuning tour route. In the selection of this strategic tourist attraction using the concept of 5A which is a key element that must be owned by a destination. 5A consists of Accessibilty, Accomodation, Atraction, Activity, and Amenities. After selected the strategic tourist attraction then the new will be made preparation of tourist routes, Tour Route in Ciayumajakuning is divided into 3, namely City Tour Route (Keraton Kasepuhan - Kacirebonan Palace - Taman Sari Gua Suyaragi - Cirebon Waterland Ade Irma Suryani - Batik Trusmi); Western Travel Route (Linggarjati Negotiation Building - Cibulan Baths - Cipari Archaeological Site - Curug Putri Paluntungan - Tenjo Laut); and the Tour Route East (Batu Lawang - Telaga Nilam - Batu Luhur), after the arrangement of the tourism route it is necessary also analysis of supporting infrastructure required for tourist attraction included in the tourist route so that the tourist attraction progressed to become better and more ready in receiving tourists come. In this study there are also tour packages made of tourist routes that have been compiled, this tour package consists of 1 day tour package, 2 days 1 night tour package, and 3 days 2 night tour package. The travel route is basically planned for tourists to travel from one tourist attraction to another, with the development emphasized on the development of transit route patterns. While the distribution of the development of tourism facilities and infrastructure is intended to complement the predetermined travel route in order to become an interesting travel route that is completed by the ease of travel for tourists who visit the results of this study there are several recommendations that can be used by stakeholders consisting of government, private, tourism organizations, attraction managers, and community in Ciayumajakuning to be made as a guide to develop tourism in Ciayumajakuning.
