One of the emerging trends is the healthy lifestyle trend (to achieve good health & wellness), as a form of resistance to urban lifestyles that tend to create more stress and distanced humans from nature. This encourages the development of health tourism, especially wellness sector. Bali island is known as the island of Gods, has large variety of natural beauty that is supported by traditions and cultures that have been maintained until now, making it the most exotic and sought-after tourist destination in the world. Balinese culture and tradition is considered suitable to support various wellness activities, to unite harmoniously with the universe has become the principle of life held by the inhabitants. Based on the site analysis and design criteria of the healing environment, Bali Island is chosen to be the site location. The exact site location is in Kelusa Village. It’s physical condition and natural elements at this site are considered suitable as the initial criteria to create healing environment. text |
