High speed railway stations can be a catalyst for the development of new city centers, however need to be designed with appropriate and relevant design approaches. At this time, the train station sometimes designed with a computational technology approach that provides a stunning design. In recent years, there are developing algorithmic tools to optimize the structure. This tool not only can optimize the structural system, but also can generate structural form called Generative Topology Optimization, which is a method of design approach tools from derivative of computational modeling which is developed based on optimizing the formation of mass and the volume of an object that will be effective and optimal load distribution. This method can be applied in the architectural realm through station design, which uses a generative modeling method to provide an alternative to the form-finding research method of building shell structure. The design is done in several stages, the conceptual phase, then the generative topology optimization iteration, and the preliminary design stages. Before entering the design stage process, has been done study of literature and analysis. The station will be designed with the typology of a High-speed railway station that will become a new activity center in East Bandung. Located in Tegalluar, Kabupaten Bandung, West Java. text
