Designed project “Middle Class Apartment in Cilebut” is Architecture ITB Undergraduate Program’s final project. The project whose initiators are Perumnas and PT. KAI Commuter Jabodetabek has a vision to fulfill residential need of people, especially those who are middle class workers or college students with the need of daily mobility in Jabodetabek area. The project is based in Cilebut, Bogor District near to Cilebut Station and gate of Tol Lingkar Luar Bogor. The strategic location of the apartment is planned to ease the mobility of its resident especially in term of daily activity. This project is located in a site of 10.041 sqm. There are three main functions of the Middle Class Apartment which are residential, commercial, and complementary. Those three functions are formed in one main building and two complementary buildings. The project’s designed based on the concept “Creating Integrated Space”. The building’s designer attemps to maximize the neighborhood’s potential by approaching the design through form and function. The neighborhood of the site is surrounded by landed house area, so the vertical building project’s development must pay attention to the neighborhood’s context.
