It is expected to provide convenience for Indonesian society to conduct interbank transactions. However, the implementation of NPG system in several banks in Indonesia varies. The intention to use NPG card by Indonesian society is still relatively small, and there are several NPG systems that need to be improved. Therefore, this research aims to analyze the implementation of the NPG system in several banks, the intention to use NPG cards by Indonesian customers, the challenge and the future of the NPG system in Indonesia. The hypotheses in this research were developed by modified previous researches of Davis (1989), Kim, et al. (2009) and another literature regarding technology and mobile payment. The author uses modified Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) with four dimensions of Cashless Characteristics (Reachability, Compatibility, and Convenience), Individual Differences (NPG Knowledge and Innovativeness), Adoption Readiness (Perceived Usefulness, Perceived Ease of Use, Social Influence, and Facilitating Conditions), Perceived Credibility Risk (Privacy Risk and Security Risk). This research used both qualitative and quantitative approaches, the qualitative approach was conducted by interviewing bank representatives and NPG users, then it was analyzed with manual coding and validated by triangulation. While the quantitative approach was conducted by distributing the questionnaire to the NPG users, then it was analyzed with PLS-SEM analysis. The qualitative result showed there were similarities and differences of NPG systems among several banks in Indonesia. The quantitative result indicated that Compatibility and Convenience had a significant influence on Perceived Usefulness and Perceived Ease of Use, and NPG knowledge also had a significant influence on Perceived Usefulness. While in the adoption readiness dimension only Facilitating Conditions that is proven to have a significant effect on the Intention to Use and the result showed the users were not really concerned about the Privacy and Security Risk of NPG cards because both variables did not have a significant influence on the Intention to Use NPG cards. Furthermore, the challenges and the future of NPG are to overcome the disadvantages and to create the easier, faster, and safer system for the society. This study generated several recommendations; to result in integrated staff, to convey the progress of the NPG system continuously, to collaborate with another digital payment, and to create an integrated online system for customer text
