The population growth In Bandung has caused many negative impacts on the city's comfort. there are many high density settlements in the city of Bandung that has caused the lack of green space and poor infrastructure. The solution of the problem is land re-adjustment. Vertical social housing development is a part of land re-adjustment process that can be done by converting existing horizontal settlements into vertical settlements. This project took place in RW 02 Cibangkong that have a very high density in Bandung. This project is about a vertical housing with a number of units that can accommodate more middle-class populations with variants of type 24 m2, 36 m2, and 48 m2. The functions provided are residential, business facilities, open space and public facilities. The issues of this project are about the needs of social spaces and comfortness, the affordability in terms of economy and construction rate. In the design, material selection and study about the construction process becomes very important to minimize the price of building construction. The selected material which will be used is prefabricated concrete. Therefore, the main focus of this design is modular application in each component of prefabricated concrete as the main design material. Programs are formulated based on studies and analysis.
