Health is one of the basic human needs. With the growth of city population every year, the needs for health facility will also rise. In response, the national army plans to build a general hospital in Cimahi. As a military hospital, they have a vision to make the hospital prideful for members of the army, their families and the citizen of Cimahi. The project is located in one of the cultural heritage areas in Cimahi. The context of existing cultural heritage buildings affect the design process of this project. In addition, the project raises the issue of healing environment, which is to set the physical condition of the hospital to support and improve the psychological condition as well as reduce the stress level of all hospital users. The hospital designed to have a capacity of 75 beds, consisting of several building masses that are connected and have a maximum height of four floors. The new hospital building designed in such a way as to be a harmonious setting with the context of existing cultural heritage buildings.
