Description
Summary:Based on the concept of Green Supply Chain, this research focuses on the implementation of Reverse Logistics which is essentially a conventional logistics, Green Supply Chain concept serves to operate additional functions in recovery and recycling. Uncertainty is inherent in the implementation of reverse logistics that challenge the concept of Green Supply Chain. The purpose of this research is to develop distribution network and transportation model in reverse logistics of plastic waste recycling management in Jabodetabek. Furthermore, the developed model will be used as a decision making tool in the design of the distribution and transportation of plastic waste and the process of recycling plastic waste business activities. The cost parameters to be considered include transportation costs, sorting costs, disposal costs and production costs. The model developed is the optimization models in reverse logistics network including facility location model and capacity allocation model in decision making, and using network design model in determining location and identification of transportation route. The reverse logistics model in the proposed plastic waste distribution and transport network consists of seven entities, including: households, scavengers, waste banks, collectors, agents, factories, and end consumers. Research using demand assumptions is deterministic and only considering aspects of facilities and infrastructure, so further research can be developed dynamic model or simulation models and also can be developed aspect role and institutional function to arrange distribution and transportation network in reverse logistics system of plastic waste recycle in Jabodetabek.
