Islamic Center that will be designed is located at Jalan Suparjan Mangun Wijaya, Mojoroto Sub-District, Kediri City, East Java. The function of buildings around the tread is residential and commercial.The city-level Islamic Studies Center is planned to provide a variety of facilities, including facilities of worship, education, economic, social, support facilities, and public spaces. The design problems of this project are how to place the mosque in a special environment, how to present a building that can integrate the locality with monumentalities, how to organize different building functions, how to orient the building to the geometry of the site, how to integrate Kedak River into design, and how to connect the site with the existing housing across the Kedak River. Various problems are answered through the concept of design based on verses of the Qur'an, namely Surah Ali Imran verse 112. The design concept of Quranic Architecture is derived as a direction for developing general solutions to existing design problems. Mosque building is built high, terraces and uses sloped roof to combine aspects of monumentality with locality. The mosque is placed in the middle of the site as a symbol of a higher hierarchy than any other building. The multipurpose building orientation is directed to the existing imaginary axis of the intersection that is not right-angled. Public spaces such as amphitheater and promenade are designed to respond to the existence of the Kedak River, which limits the design site as well as a meeting point with the existing housing across the site.
