One of the agricultural sectors in Indonesia which contributes the largest is the aquaculture sector. Unfortunately, the aquaculture sector in Indonesia often experiences inefficiencies and ineffectiveness of work processes in its industry. Acquiring the latest technology can be a solution in providing an improved performance on effectiveness and efficiency in the aquaculture sector of Indonesia. However, the acquisition of technology use in the industry is very slow, due to the lack of technological education, which is owned by the work force. In collaboration with an aquaculture technology manufacturer company named EFishery, this research will refer to the companies in order to asses and test the recent technology transfer process they have done recently. This research is presented by using a qualitative analysis methods. In the process, this research uses two technique of data gathering: interviews and field observations. To obtain a validity, triangulation technique is performed on the data. Benchmarking to three different frameworks, several infeciency and ifectiveness factor found in the recent EFishery technology transfer. This research also shows that there are two significant factors in the technology transfer, which are the flexibility of the producer and the participation of the technology users. In conclusion, this research is expected to be an evaluation material for the technology transfer process that occurs in the aquaculture sector in Indonesia, especially those run by EFishery PTE LTD. text
