Summary:Adi Soemarmo Airport terminal and train station is constructed to accomodate the demand of passengers’ movement in Surakarta City and the area around it. The passenger terminal consists of two levels and its area is about 19.200 m2 wide. Meanwhile, the train station consists of three levels and its area is about 2.912 m2 wide. Both structures are reinforced-concrete structures with steel roof truss. They are classified as Seismic Design Category D which is designed as special moment frame structures. In the design process, the steps that are going to be performed are modelling, structural behavior analisys and detailing of reinforced concrete and steel elements on the passenger terminal and train station of Adi Soemarmo Airport. The structure is designed to withstand the effects of earthquakes. Adi Soemarmo airport passenger terminal and train station buildings planning involve literature studies and structural modelling. The dynamic analysis and structural design refer to Indonesia’s national standard, SNI 1726-2012, SNI 1727-2013, SNI 1729-2015, and SNI 2847-2013. Several engineering software are used to execute building analysis and design, including ETABS 2016 version 16.2.1 and SAP2000 version 20.0.0.
