WEB BASED APLICATION DEVELOPMENT OF PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

This study focused on the software development of web based Preventive Maintenance management system model with case study at Jurusan Teknik Manufaktur Politeknik Manufaktur Negeri (Polman) Bandung. Modeling is an initial phase followed by creation the web based aplication of Preventive Maintenance management system. Preventive Maintenance was applied by Polman is still done manually, it’s causing problems for the manager, such as machine data traceability, machine repair history data, data about the condition of the machine, machine location data, scheduling data, and others. This study aims to develop a business process model, physical data model and web-based aplication of the Preventive Maintenance management system. Stages of the research done by studying the issues, literature, and interviews with Unit Pelayanan Teknik Perawatan Perbaikan Peralatan (UPT P3) Polman personnel. The modeling stage is done by description of the process, the determination of the entities involved, creating tables and relationships involved, and then make the web based aplication of Preventive Maintenance management system. The software used in this research is BizAgi Process Modeller, to develop business models, DBdesigner Fork, to develop physical data model and for the web based aplication is used Microsoft Visual Web Developer 2008 Express Edition. The result of the research are business process model, physical data model and an web based aplication of Preventive Maintenance management system as a tool at Jurusan Teknik Manufaktur Polman Negeri Bandung.
