Development is done by making the business process model, physical data model and application use interface web based tooling management system. The learning process that aims to improve one’s skills through practical activities or production process to produce a product, require complete and function properly tooling. The right management method very supporting to get it. Tool crib is department of the lending function to serve, return, and storage tooling and other function of tooling management. Management of tooling at the Department of Manufacturing Engineering Polman is still done manually so it has a weakness, especially in the speed of data retrieval. The purpose of this research is to improve the manual system into a database system through modeling and interface creation. The research method is done through the field to learn the system is running, search comparable data for similar studies and literature review. Based on the information that has been obtained, then created a model tool crib with the stage description of the process, the determination of the entity, as well as creating tables and relationships. Interface is a web-based application aids in order to be accessible from many places. The software aids used in this research are Bizagi Process Modeler to design business process models, DBdesign Fork for making physical data model, Microsoft Visual Web Developer 2008 Express Edition to create the interface, and the Oracle Database 10g Express Edition for database management. The results obtained from this research are the business process model, physical data model and application interface aids for web-based management tools. text |
