Therefore the Government of Indonesia has formulated various policies to encourage development and improve the welfare of rural communities. Starting from Law No. 6 of 2014 concerning Villages to various policies and regulations derived from them such as the Village Fund and the Village Development Index (IDM). But in reality, there is still abuse of the Village Fund by those who should manage the Village Fund for the benefit of the village community. One of the provinces with the highest level of corruption in the Village Fund based on the decision of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia published in Beritagar.id (2017) is East Java. Therefore a transparency study was conducted in the management of the Village Fund based on village status (case study: Lengkong Village and Kudu Village, Nganjuk Regency, East Java). This study uses a qualitative approach with primary data collection methods through semi-structured interviews and secondary data through literature and document studies, as well as descriptive qualitative analysis and content analysis methods. The results of this study indicate that there is transparency in the management of the Village Fund which is relatively similar between the Lengkong Village with the status of Maju and the Kudu Village with the status of development. text |
