Description
Summary:The human needs for energy resources from time to time are increasing. This energy needs has increased along with the rapid development of technology and industry. Various types of alternative energy continue to be developed and one of them is geothermal energy. Geothermal energy is heat energy found in rocks located below the surface of the earth and also in the fluid contained in these rocks. In Indonesia, the prospect of geothermal energy can be said to be very promising because Indonesia has as many as 27,000 MW of geothermal reserves or 40% of the world's geothermal reserves. During the final assignment this time geophysical measurements will be carried out using magnetic methods for geothermal areas. The tool that will be used in this study is the Proton Precession Magnetometer. The field data obtained will then be corrected, namely daily (diurnal) correction and IGRF correction. This corrected data processing will be done using Surfer and Mag2dc software.
