The pressure on these resources can pose a risk to water, energy and food security. The water-energyfood connection is a useful approach for identifying and evaluating trade-offs in different sectors. In Indonesia, water is at the core of this connection, it is very important both for food security (agricultural productivity and livestock) and energy resilience, namely with the use of renewable energy for supplier infrastructure and water resource processing (Pumping system). In some areas in Indonesia such as Sumbawa Regency, it still has remote areas far away from the national electricity network, agricultural irrigation network and the company's drinking water area, but it has the advantage of the availability of groundwater resources (well water) with the depth of the well between 3 m to 9 m. However, to lift well water, it is needed a pumping system, either a motor-driven pump, electric motor or utilizing renewable energy sources such as plural wind turbines that are mechanically moved. The blade is connected to the shaft and the crank mechanism which placed at the end of the shaft. When the blade rotates automatically the crank mechanism will also rotate. Due to the eccentric arrangement of the shaft, the rotation movement of the crank mechanism is transformed into a linear motion transmitted to the pump piston rod, so that the pumping process will take place continuously according to the availability and wind speed. Utilizing a wind turbine as a water pump driver can be done because the location of Geographically Sumbawa Regency which has a long coastline with wind speed above 2,3 m/second. This study is designed and manufactured piston water pump model with the drive of the multy blade wind turbine, cylinder diameter of the pump 50,80 mm, pump stroke is 127 mm, altitude (head) pumping 9 m at a wind speed of 2,8 m/second. From the results of the design, it is known that the effective average water flow is 7,8 m3/day and the torque to start pumping is 11,21 Nm. The measurement of pump dimension from the manufacturing results has the same dimensions as the design result of the cylinder diameter of 50,80 mm and the pump stroke is 127 mm. Furthermore, the results of this study will be applied in Nanga Lidam Village of Sumbawa-NTB. text
