Summary: | Most homes often experienced electricity disruptions either from the PLN or from the excess use of power from the house itself. The accumulation of inrush current can be one of the causes of electricity disruption at home. Inrush current is the maximum instantaneous initial surge current that occurs when an electronic device is first turned on. SPOS is designed to overcome this problem by delaying the ON time on some electronic devices (sequential methods). SPOS has 5 main components to compile hardware on this tool. Five of these components include microcontrollers, power supplies, relays, interface buttons, and security systems. By using these components, the results of the implementation and testing show that SPOS has been able to solve the problem of accumulating inrush current well, has a fairly efficient size and power consumption. SPOS that has been designed to have a maximum power consumption of 1.2W and has dimensions of 7 cm x 5.5 cm x 13 cm |
